The White Horses and Hill Figures Exhibition at Devizes Museum
From the Devizes Millennium White Horse Committee:
The Committee have been contacted by the Museum in Devizes to help with the display for our Devizes Millennium White Horse in this exhibition running from 27th March to 3rd October 2010. We are able to provide details from Sarah Padwick’s illustrated talk “DMWH from Conception to Completion and Beyond”; the photograph boards from our 10th Anniversary Celebrations showing pictures from the talk and also from the Anniversary itself; a copy of the Contents of the Time Capsule buried on 31st December 1999 and further items including membership forms; postcards; prints and cards; Wiltshire Tourism’s booklet on the 90 miles Walking Trail, taking in all 8 of the Wiltshire White Horses; Sue Melvin’s White Horse Walking brochure; the DMWH information leaflet; clothing with our 2000 logo and also with the Nursteed School logo (of DMWH). This Exhibition will be well worth visiting.
