Restoration of the Cherhill white horse. The front legs, neck and body have been recut and lined with shuttering where necessary, and shuttering has been fixed across the rearmost front leg. The rear legs have been filled with new chalk, which is sent down onto the horse by means of the chute from the working platform above. 13 Aug 2002
